Back Down To Earth
Spent the 12th mostly laying on resort chairs and swimming in the sea. We went to one of the hotels and commandeered a couple of beach chairs. Stayed for 4 hours. Got a little burnt but it was a great relaxing day. The sea is so cool and clear. We have had hot days and a dip in such a perfect spot really was good for us. Needed a down day.
Today we walked down to the bus depot and got our tickets to Split. Then caught a bus to the old town port to catch a ferry to Lokrum Island. We spent about 4 hours exploring the island. Nice pleasant day but really hot. Crowds weren't bad and we managed to find a couple of places to swim. We were getting tired and hot. Best

Dubrovnik

solution for that is to jump in the water. Perfect day to end our time in Dubrovnik. Heading north tomorrow to Split. Following the trail Jake and I did almost 30 years ago. A lot has changed. Dubrovnik has a lot of tourists and is an expensive place. Don't get me wrong it is definitely worth the visit. Just expect to pay a little more to play.
