Back Down To Earth
Last part of a day in St. Petersburg and it was kind of crappy. Got up and went to the bank to replenish my funds. Decided I would try to get the rest of the rubles I think I will need for the Russian part of the journey. After a bit of fooling around I managed to get what I needed. Then I checked out of my room but left my pack at the hostel and headed out to see a couple of spots I hadn't done yet. Went to the Church Saviour of the Spilled Blood or something close to that. Nice place. All the murals inside are done with mosaic tiles. Pretty cool place. After leaving it started to rain. Spent the rest of the day trying to dodge rain. Ended up in the park hanging out under some trees. Just wanted some peace and quiet. Got that as well as a bit of cold weather. Went to the supermarket to grab a loaf of bread, sausage, and cheese. I can hear Katelyn saying "classic dad". Got back to the hostel at 5:15 and made a couple of sandwiches for supper. Thought I would start walking to the train station at about 7. My train leaves at 9:50 so I have lots of time to get lost and found again. Just want to
