Back Down To Earth
I posted my 3rd week of pictures on Facebook yesterday and got a reply from Rod Youngblood asking if we were still in Dubrovnik. I told him yes but we were leaving for Split the next day. He said he was too and asked if we would like a ride. Haven't seen Rod in a while so we met up this morning and headed for Split with Rod and Holly. Strange how you meet people in different places. Rod put it best when he said "can't get together for golf but can meet in Dubrovnik". Had a great day as we made our way slowly up the coast stopping at interesting spots. Split

I wouldn't have seen if we bussed. We saw an old wall that had the look of the Great Wall from a distance. We also found a little town outside of Split that was very beautiful. Rugged place with high mountains and a great beach. Seems like a great combination. Got to Split around 5:00 pm. Found our AirBnb and then headed to the old part of Split. Interesting place, but very busy. Got our bus ticket for the next place, had a good supper and off to bed. Content over a great day with friends in a strange place. Thanks Rod and Holly for helping make our trip another day to remember.
