Back Down To Earth
The weather has taken a turn for the worst. I think BC could use some of this rain! Yesterday was cool and windy. We decided to do some museums to learn a little about the history of Latvia. Only went to one. Spent a couple of hours at a history of warfare museum. Very interesting stuff and kind of sad. These Baltic countries have always been fought over by Germany, Russia, Sweden, and Poland. Seems it is always the people of the country that pay for it. Canada has peacekeepers in Latvia to deter Russia trying again! Had planned on a beach day up on the Baltic but 18 degrees and windy doesn't cut it. Had a pizza meal and then some pastry desserts. Went back to watch some movies for the evening. This morning it was pouring rain. Not surprised because that was the forecast. Plan on going beer tasting this afternoon. Did the museum we planned on doing today yesterday so we may just stay dry for a while and go out later.
Beer tasting got a little out of control. Sampled more than we should have and paid for it on our trip to Tallinn. We have arrived and are
