Family Europe Trip, June-August 2018

Plitvice Lakes National Park is a 295-sq-km forest reserve in central Croatia. It’s known for a chain of 16 terraced lakes, joined by waterfalls, that extended into a limestone canyon. Walkways and Hiking trails wind around and across the water and an electric boat links the 12 upper and 4 lower lakes.

The water is crystal clear and can see all the way to the bottom. The colour of the water is just amazing. We walked and walked, went on the boat and a bus to get us from one end to the other when unable to walk any more. The National park is absolutely huge.
