Saint Maria del Mar church was built between 1329 and 1383 at the height of Aragon kingdom’s maritime and mercantile preeminence. It is an outstanding example of Catalan Gothic , with a purity and unity of style that is very unusual in large medieval buildings. This building was seriously amazing.
Everyone LOVES a good market.Market La Boquerila! Luka and Zak couldn’t stop dribbling. They kept saying i want, i want, i want. It was seriously great but found it VERY expensive.
After a long walk in the morning and 16,000 steps later we thought that a relaxing beach time is in order. We changed, packed and walked more to get to the beach...only 10 minute walk :). There we relaxed, saw lots of topless ladies much to Luka’s disgrace....poor boy! But he survived :). Finally, we completed the day with 21,855 steps.
