Another wow. What a great family trip this was.

Monte Generoso is a mountain of the Lugano Prealps, located on the border between Switzerland and Italy and between Lake Lugano and Lake Como. The western and southern flanks of the mountain lie in the Swiss canton of Ticino whilst the north-eastern flanks are in the Italian region of Lombarrdy.

Firstly, we took the train from Lugano to Capolago. Then we cought the train which took us up to the top of the mountain with the elevation of 1701m. So this is 1000m less than Triglav which we are climbing in a few days. Holly Molly we can now see what is waiting for us.... :). Kids are ready and hyped. So we think, he he he. As we completed more hiking on the top of the mountain we decided to walk down to the next train station with our non hiking shoes. Who thought we were going to hike!!! The idea was to go sight seeing :). Anyway we are a bit of a crazy family and will challenge ourselves with unexpected and on the spot decisions :). It was great and kids absolutely loved it spotting wild strawberries and eating them. That was the highlight of the hike.
After 1 hr of hike down the mountain we reached the train station and it was time to get back to Lugano.

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL HIKE WITH KIDS. WE ARE WINNING! :).
