Upon waking up this morning we decided to catch a bus to Camp Nou. Catching the bus was great.
Camp Nou is the home stadium of FC Barcelona since its completion in 1957. With a seating capacity of 99,354, it is the largest stadium in Spain and Europe and the second largest association football stadium in the world in capacity.
The club is looking at remodeling the stadium and the plans look amazing and i must say it is about time. With the club of such wealth it does need some TLC. They are also looking at expanding the seating capacity by 13,500 with at least half of the total seating to be under cover. This would be amazing to see once finished.
The stadium was great to see and it’s achievements. Luka, Zak and Sini really enjoyed the experience.
After Camp Nou we decided to catch the bus to Park Guell. Unfortunately due to not purchasing the tickets early (the only tickets we didn't book early) most of the sessions were sold out. So, we decided to walk around go to the top and see Barcelona. It was HOT, humid and sweaty. As we completed the walk the underground train was to be experienced. So, today we cought a few buses and a train which completed our Barcelona transport experience.
Barcelona Symphony Orchestra was simply AMAZING. WOW, so much talent, love and training went into this great performance. The performance is played on the beach. It was packed and i mean packed with people from all over the world. Every year different songs are chosen which makes every year a suprise. And surprise was definitely magical for us.
