One intensive cardio training with a 20-minutes transfer window in London and 14 hours of turbulence later, I'm in BA! The city met me with warmth and sun, busy traffic and trees all covered with flowers. The music of the Argentinean Spanish, the motors of busses (colectivos) driving like crazy, a man driving around and making advertisement of his store from the car with a loudspeaker - all in one big Buenos Aires bubble. And then coming to my new home at Avenida Raúl Scalabrini Ortiz, meeting the wonderful landlady Adriana and feeling at home!
On the pictures:
- The BA sign on Avenida 9 de julio, the widest avenue in the world with up to sevel lanes in each direction. It takes quite some time to cross. My camera cannot capture the wideness of the street, so here is a BA sign instead, it is situated by the Obelisk in the middle of the avenue.
- A quieter street by Avenida 9 de julio, with blooming trees.
- The cosy green terrace at my place.
