Peace and Love Tour

Today was the day before Mothers Day. We were staying at Carnarvon. We drove to the One Mile Jetty, then we saw it was closed for repairs, we still had something to eat at the café though. Then we went the space centre and the volunteer talked to us about the Apollo 11 space mission and the moon landing. The satellite at Canarvon was used for communicating with the astronauts during the mission. Then we went into the capsule (the same as the one the astronauts travelled inside) and for seven minutes we were able to pretend we were taking off from Earth. Then we went to the kids section and played space games.
