Peace and Love Tour

Today we went to Karijini national park and did loads of walks. We did Upper Weano Gorge first then the Lower Weano Gorge except we couldn’t go very far because the water was so high you would have to swim to go further and the sign said no climbing on the sides. So then we went to the lookout and there was a sign about how the layers of rocks formed on the sea floor over 2.5 billion years ago. The black are iron oxide and silica and the red layers are normal rock. Then we drove to Joffre falls. I (Mars) saw the turn off but I didn’t know it was the right one so I didn’t tell anybody and we missed the turn and had to go back. When we got to the falls we viewed them from the lookout and then we made lunch. After lunch we went down the track to the base of the falls, it was very rocky and steep. We put our feet in the water in the pool at the bottom of the falls and it was very cold and slippery. Then we climbed to the very, very official end of the track and there was a big pit full of pebbles and water and the base of the falls. Then we climbed back up, it took us way less time in total than the sign said. We drove back to Tom Price and filled up on fuel and that was the end of our day.
