Peace and Love Tour

The first thing we did today was go to the National Anzac Centre. At the start they gave you a card about a person and you could scan it on places and it gave you information about what that person was doing in that time of the war. You also had a pen which you could play audio from by tapping golden markers on walls or glass cases. After that we saw the old war canons and defences set up in Albany during World War II. For lunch we had Hungry Jacks!

After lunch we saw this ship called Brig Amity which carried the first European settlers and convicts to arrive in Albany. After that we saw the old convict jail. The old jail remained operational as a police station up until 1967.

Captain's Log: The sun was out this morning. It provided warmth. For those of you living in Melbourne you may not have seen the Sun lately. It is a bright orange orb that appears in the sky and provides warmth.
