Peace and Love Tour

Today we drove to Mary River and Oma had to fill up with petrol because her gauge was nearly empty and her fuel light came on when she was about 40km away. She thought she wouldn’t get there in time and had to drive with the aircon turned off to try and save fuel. When she got there she was so relieved, but then she realised the petrol pump was broken and she couldn’t get petrol! In the end she had to pay $35 for a 20L jerry of petrol, which was enough to get her to PC (Pine Creek). Then we drove to Leliyn (Edith Falls) and did the 2.8km walk to the top of the falls. After that we had a swim but the water was so cold we didn’t last a minute so we got out and had lunch. Next we drove to Katherine, went to the shops and then had a swim at our caravan park.
