Peace and Love Tour
Today we woke up and left Broome. We drove to Derby and had lunch and got fuel, saw the prison boab tree and then we went on the Gibb River Road (grrr – not impressed). We drove a hundred kilometres to a road stop near Windjana Gorge and set up the caravan, then we drove down to Tunnel Creek. At the start of the walk there was a giant rock with deep pools of water on the sides, we went over the rock. When we got to some parts there was water up to our waists if we went certain ways so we had to try and follow the sand bars. Tunnel Creek is basically what it sounds like, a creek going through a tunnel. We had to take torches so we could see where we were going, except for in the middle where the roof caved in.
