Peace and Love Tour

Today we left Lake Argyle and we were going to cross the border to the NT!!!! When we crossed the border at 8:30am it turned into 10 O’clock, meaning that now we are only half an hour behind Melbourne time. We drove 400ks to a road stop and we slept there for the night, we didn’t do much else today.

Captain's Log: 7 Things that make WA roads better than Victorian Roads
1. They're flat.
2. Small second class country roads in WA are in better condition than the highways and freeways of Victoria.
3. Road signage is limited to what you actually need to know.
4. Road side advertising is limited as well, less visual pollution so you can pay attention to where you are going.
5. Most roads are wider in WA, whereas in Victoria some lanes only just fit a car, let alone a truck.
6. You can do 110kph on all freeways and highways (except when towing).
7. There's not many Victorian drivers on the road.

Editor's Note: I would like to point out that WA do have some stupid road signs. For example "No lines marked do not overtake unless safe" seems to imply that it is only in the absence of lines that you are limited to overtaking safely, if lines were marked presumably it would be okay to overtake when unsafe?
