Peace and Love Tour

First we got up we packed up most of the van and then we went for a swim. After the swim we had a shower and packed up the last bit then set off. It was a short drive today and we set off for Ceduna, the last stop before we started the Nullarbor.

When we got there it was so early that it was before check-in time but luckily the lady there let us in early. When we got to Ceduna we had to stock up on everything, like fuel and food. We also did the washing as Ceduna is the last civilisation for 1200km!

After that we went to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre and saw some great paintings. They also had this really overpriced thing. It was a box with a small rock in it with paintings that I didn’t think were very special at all. It was just a handmade overpriced box that cost $13.00 and I didn’t think anyone would buy it but I was wrong, my Dad bought one for my Mum!

At 2 O’Clock we went to a museum of old buildings in the town. There were old jails and post offices through to old schools and churches and there was other interesting stuff like whale bones or shark bones.

Later on we went to a Sailing Club for dinner but there were no tables left when we got there plus there were really long lines so we ended up going to a fish and chips shop for dinner instead.
