Peace and Love Tour
Today was Mothers Day which means the caravan park we were staying at was giving us free pancakes!!!! I had mine with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, butter and sugar. The first place we went to when we left the caravan park was the hardware shop (we have been to a lot of those). Today was just driving, driving and loads more driving. We stopped at a road house at Minilya Bridge where we went to the toilet and got icy poles, then we got back into the car to do the last third of our drive. We drove so far we crossed the Tropic of Capricorn! When we got to the beach campsite just South of Coral Bay we set up the caravan then we went to the beach were we swam in the sea. Next we went for a walk along the coast and found out that some people were going to pull up a net full of fish at seven O’clock, so when seven O’clock came we went down and helped pull it up. They caught heaps of fish and we got 4 to take home for breakfast. We wondered why people even bother fishing with a fishing line when it is so much easier to catch them with a net.
