Backpacker.

Day 25
I went to Kar.ma for the last time, After a very lovely breakfast I made my way to the airport. While there, I met one of the guys from the hostel, his flight was delayed and so was mine... At 14:25 we finally took off and a few hours later, I arrived at Bangkok!

As soon as I came to the Hostel I met up with a bunch of new people. There are a lot of dutch people, and I finally met up with max. At about 23:00 three of us realized that we didn't eat dinner before, and we headed out for Khao san road. Dinner was made up out of one chicken skewer, one cut up mango, one roasted scorpion, and a bag of sushi flavored chips. Very good. The scorpion was a new experience but I really enjoyed it. Tomorrow my first priority will be to get a pair of flip flops, after this I'll find a tailor, and in the evening I hope to go out and explore the night life properly.

Day 26
According to some people, morning means 11:30. That means we left the hostel at about 12:00. I've been looking forward to eating Thai food for such a long time, wherever I go it smells of garlic and seafood, the streets are full of chicken skewers and roasted scorpions. Me, Max and some others decided to go to a mall called MBK. I never saw so many phones and cameras in one place before, It is HUGE.

After this I decided to go to a place called Tailor on Ten. As soon as I entered they asked me what I preferred to drink and offered me some water. One of the guys in the shop helped me design the suit and when we had a complete design, we headed upstairs for measurements. I never knew how many different measurements was required in order to get a good suit. This went on for a long time, and when we finished, the order was placed and a "fitting day" was agreed upon. I got into a taxi and enjoyed a 1,5 hour traffic jam back to the hostel.

Night fell, and the city changes. Everyone is going to Khao san road to get drunk and dance. It was fun to observe, as people think it's one big party, and I think it's one big inconvenience. The street is lined with small shops and ATMs. No matter where you go people stand in wait to withdraw more cash and get more drunk. Compared to Nepal, this place is very touristy and as soon as I have finished the suit I will go up north to find something that fits me better.

Tomorrow will be a good day to find some high quality food spots and at night I will try to find people who wants to go to the road we call "baby khao san", its right next to the big one and its way more quiet.
