Monkeys and Monks

Day 4
Today I woke up at 07:30. Me and Lina went out to Kar.ma and grabbed some coffee and chia pudding for breakfast. After about one hour one of her friends showed up and introduced himself as Max.

Lina wanted to get a huge scarf with trippy patterns, so we went to a local market full of spices and fabrics. On this journey we came across many places where the people prayed and offered things to shrines and temples. A group of kids walked with us and asked us questions about where we came from, how to say our names and

how long we where staying in Nepal. They went to school and we kept moving towards the Monkey-temple.

We arrived at the foot of the hill where the monkey temple is. They where everywhere, talking with each other and checking us out, I think they where looking for things to steal. The climb up felt like a thousand steps, there was an abundance of sunlight but no wind, the monkeys ran around everywhere fighting each other and constantly looking for food around the visitors. On top of the hill was the temple, it was surrounded with smaller temples and you could walk around the entire building to spin prayer wheels made out of metal. We spent about twenty minutes at the top of the hill and realized that

time was about 13:00, and there for, we left to get some lunch.

The clock is 14:52 now and I've just arrived back at the hostel. I'm going to plan my time in Nepal today and later tonight I will go out with the newfound friends from Singapore.
