Backpacker.

Day 47
Finally some proper sleep! I can't believe that It is soon time to go to Japan and there are still so many fun things to do while in Bangkok. This morning I got some Nepali food that was spicy as hell, after this I spent the rest of the day playing Jenga with some dutch people in the hostel.

When nightfall came, we decided to check out a night market. It was called Patpong night market and its situated near/around a red light district. Hence I did not bring the camera or my phone to this place. Bangkok is absolutely bizarre though, there are natives selling stuff, scamming tourists and prostitutes weaving through the crowd, which consists of families with strollers, people my age who are partying and old lonely men with young Thai girls. No matter where you look there are tailors screaming about how nice your tattoo is and that it would look better in a suit and if you catch a glimpse into the

Day 47
Finally some proper sleep!

No matter where you look there are tailors screaming about how nice your tattoo is and that it would look better in a suit and if you catch a glimpse into the

alleyways, 20 prostitutes are waving at you while ping-pong balls are flying out the windows. It is fascinating, yet highly disturbing and after this night I will have a lot of crazy stories to tell people back home.

Tomorrow is going to be crazy hot, the weather forecast said about 35 degrees. This means that the komodo-dragons in lumphini park will be active though and that is something that I would love to see!

Day 48
I was dead set on going to the park when I woke up. At 12:00 the temperature was just way to high and I ended up doing pretty much nothing today. I will force myself to go tomorrow though, no matter how warm it is and in the afternoon, there are always people to chill out with at the hostel.

Day 49

Bangkok keeps growing on me, it's such a bizarre environment, today we left the sky-bar known as "Octave" The view was very good, It lies on top of one of the highest buildings in the entire city and we could see A LOT from up there. I'm hanging out with a fun group of people, a finish guy who doesn't care about anything he is called Matti, a dutch named Max, and a Canadian called Clayton. After going to the rooftop bar, Matti got drunk and wanted to go to the red light to play pool with the hookers. This turned out to be a great idea and we spent the entire night (until about 03:00) in the pool bar before we took the taxi home. All the girls are so easy going, I think they have to be to deal with their job however it makes it really fun just come there to hang out and play pool with them. On the way back we each grabbed a bag of chips and had a "Chips-tasting" back at the hostel. Sushi flavored chips where the winner. It was now 04:00 and I said good night to my friends and went to sleep.
