Day 41
The title refers to a common saying here, "you don't leave Pai". After spending twice the amount of time I was going to here I'm still not considering leaving yet. I'm surrounded by rice fields, mountains, hot springs and rivers. There are animals everywhere and the markets are filled with all kinds of food, every day, all day. Every day we hang out in the shade, listening to podcasts while drinking fruit shakes and every night we play guitars, bongos and sing together before going to bed.

I met a guy who is going to Chiang rai soon, I'm going to talk with him and see if he wants company there. The temple seems to be one of a kind and after seeing pictures I got really excited to go.

Day 41
The title refers to a common saying here, "you don't leave Pai". After spending twice the amount of time I was going to here I'm still not considering leaving yet. Day 42
Today we went piranha fishing. Me and a guy called Aaron from the US. we got our bikes and drove for about 30 minutes until we arrived at a lake with lots of fish. The

woman who lived there had a very loud cat and constantly yelled "shut up Monty" this was highly amusing and after the cat threw her dinner on the ground the woman explained that Monty wouldn't dare to come back until tomorrow... We didn't catch any fish but it didn't matter just because of how relaxing the area was. we stayed for 3 hours and after that we headed back to our hostel.

As night fell we went to the night market. A place where you can get all kinds of food and drink, it is the cheapest, and most delicious way to eat dinner, I had corn on the cob, chicken skewers, sushi, chocolate truffles, and ginger tea. Not all at once of course but there is a lot of food to be had.

The night ended in "Paradise" and we got home at 02:00. We decided to stay one more night to see the fire dancers and then head to Chiang rai to look at the white temple.

Day 43
This day went just like planned, me and Aaron had breakfast at Earth tone, a must visit for anyone who goes to Pai. We spent the day in our hostel, relaxing in the hammocks and listening to some good old stoner rock. At nightfall we made our way down to the market, had

dinner and drove to the bar called sunset bar. They had a special type of fruit shake there that me, Aaron and a couple of people from England had before going to see the fire dancers in paradise.

The night went on until 03;00 and we went back in awe after seeing what looked like proper magicians spinning orbs of fire around themselves while dancing and laughing with each other to the music. I think I'm in love with Pai, and I will go back here in the future, no doubt about it.
