It took 11 days, 11 states and 1800 miles driven, but today we finally got out of the windbreakers that we wore in Iceland. We started the day with the obligatory photo of the state capitol building. With 500 miles driven over the last two days, we are now right back on schedule. Our drive today took us to Pensacola Beach under a clear blue sky, 75 degrees, slight breeze, an aqua colored gulf, and white sand as far as you can see.
