JoAnne and Kevin's Southern Road Trip
The weather was so bad today, our best option was to go underground. So, that is what we did. There are a lot of caves in the Shenandoah area, and Luray Caverns is the largest one here. We did the tour today, and it far exceeded my expectation of a hokey tourist trap. Better yet, the admission fee was well below that of The Elvis Experience.
We are staying in a cabin on Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park, as I did with my Mom and Dad in the summer of 1974. The rain is coming in sheets, and the wind is howling like it does on Mt. Washington. We hope to see something in the morning. I will now attempt to repair my inside out umbrella.

Roanoke, VA to Shenandoah National Park
