After my WhatsApp call with Lynne we headed out, the plan was to find the coffee shop, coffee lab Murcia & then the supermarket, most being closed on a Sunday we had to walk to the other side of the city. We headed along the river, some of the roads were closed we believe for a marathon, I did my usual & we walked slightly too far to the coffee shop. The coffee was fantastic, I was chatting to the waitress as she’d lived in Sydney for two years & was hoping to return to Australia later this year. We located the supermarket & purchased bread & pickled herrings for lunch & chicken (which had already been portioned) to roast for dinner. After lunch we worked on planning our schedule for the next few weeks & I also booked a couple of activities for Barcelona. We then went for a walk, heading away from the city along a lovely wide walking / cycling track, past a number of market gardens. The weather was beautiful. We returned home & after dinner as we had an Apple TV I was able to link my iPad so we could watch something together, Black Earth Rising.
