We departed after breakfast although fewer animals visited the waterhole this morning, maybe as it was overcast & much cooler.
We had a 4 1/2 hour journey & at times it wasn’t pleasant as it rained quite heavily.
We returned through the Swartberg pass & even encountered the line marking vehicle again.
The pass was just as spectacular in the other direction.
We traveled along the R62 along beside the Garden Route National Park, we’ll travel the other side of this park on Tuesday when we head to Natures Valley. The park was shrouded in cloud & this was the part of our journey when we had the heaviest rain, I look forward to seeing the “other” side of the park.
We purchased some groceries & made our way to Marina Martinique.
After unpacking we went for a walk, found the laundry & also the outdoor gym equipment & had a quick circuit. We tried to complete a loop to get back home, only to realise the waterways connect throughout the marina but the roads don’t.
We enjoyed a pleasant evening at home watching the activity on the water just in front of our apartment.
