South Africa

We awoke to low clouds hiding the trees, which then disappeared leaving sunshine.
Richard was looking out the window & spotted baboons in the clearing just outside our room, he was playing beek a boo with one of them (you can just see his head in the photo), there was then loud noices on our roof & we realised there must have been a baboon on the roof, it moved nearer the edge & leapt onto the pillar, you can just see it’s hand, he spotted me & moved really quickly down the other side of the pillar & across the grass into the forest.
After this excitement we headed for breakfast.
We then made our way to Knysna about a hours drive, via Plett as the locals call it (Plettenberg) where we had a walk around & a coffee in the doubleshot cafe, which was nice.
We arrived in Knysna too early to shop & check into our accommodation so decided to find the post office. I had purchased & written cards in Oudtshoorn but had been told there was a shortage of stamps & I would need to write & address them & then take them to a post office, we’d had no luck with finding a post office but as we were in a larger town we were directed & walked down to the post office & I posted the postcards- yay.
We had a look around the Main Street & a few shopping malls before having some crunch & doing some grocery shopping. We arrived at our accommodation which is about 4kms from the town centre about 3pm & were greeted by Tosha the dog (umm could this have been 1 of the attractions by Richard to this accommodation!!).
