There's just one more month to go of my incredible and life altering study abroad experience.

I've learned so much. My French has improved drastically. When I first got here, ordering food and going into stores gave me social anxiety. Now, I feel like I can understand almost everything. Except slang. When they speak slang I'm useless. In addition, I think my speaking has improved a lot as well. However, I'm still not quite where I want to be. I know the only thing that'll help that is practice.

I've also learned a lot about other cultures. Like I've said, I have a few European friends, and whenever we get together, I learn something new about their language, culture, or country. It's very fascinating.

And I've also made a home in Nantes. I'll miss shopping downtown and casually passing a medieval castle. I'll miss walking in one of the many beautiful parks they have.

Yet, despite all of this, I am ready to come home. There are so many things I miss, namely my family and friends. So here's to counting down the days, and making the last few count.
