Déjà Vu!

Three years ago, I went to Bordeaux and stayed with a host family. My host student's name is Grâce; she and her amazing family let me stay with them for a couple of weeks to absorb the culture. It was an amazing experience, and it is definitely one of the reasons I fell in love with France.

This weekend, I was lucky enough to go back to Bordeaux and visit Grâce! It was so incredibly kind of her to let me stay with her again!

We went shopping, drank hot chocolate, and talked about our lives! It was so great to catch up! I also got to meet a lot of her really cool

friends. They were so nice to me, even though I didn't really have a clue what was going on! I thought my French was improving, but after this trip, I realize I still have a long way to go. But it was still awesome to hang out with French people my age and see what they do and talk about. It was also very cool to see what they do to have fun.

I'm really glad I could return to Bordeaux and have an even better time than I did last time!
