GETTING OUR KICKS ON ROUTE 66

Well the day is finally here, the first day of our holiday.
Well the best way to start a busy day is a hearty breakfast so off to Harvester we went with Elle, Mum and Dad. A hearty breakfast was had by all especially Elle who still maintains she only asked for three rashers of bacon lol. When we had all finished it was off home to get the last bits sorted. It was now that I realised we hadn't transferred the extra money from our savings account to our currrent account..Donna said that I had said I had sorted it....but I haven't so I am in the doghouse again. To be fair I get it sorted quickly so Donna calms down quickly well for now anyway.
Dad was coming to take us back into town to catch our 1.50pm coach. Mum and dad arrived at ours at 12.40pm allegedly the chemist was a little quicker at dispensing Dad's prescription than expected on the way down lol.
When we finally got on the coach Donna couldn't even look out of the window to wave back at our family as the tears started to flow before she had sat down, I managed a wave at Elle, Mum and Dad whilst

Donna tried to compose herself....which took about 5 minutes.
Well the trip down to Victoria Train Station was smooth then a short wait and then onto another coach to Heathrow. We had just missed our Hopper to the hotel and had to wait another half an hour but by 7.55pm we had checked in to the Mercure Heathrow and booked our wake up call for 3am!!
A quick roll in the room ( Cheese and Onion to be precise) Then a quick beer in the bar and off to bed.....well we do have a very early start.
