Pre-Cross Country Road Trip - East to West - Preparation

7/21: Currently I am waiting on help with a table saw before proceeding with the bed frame build. I found out today one of my besties is donating a 1500w inverter for my solar system. Yay! :) Today I had planned to make the drive up to the nearest REI to pick up the bug netting I want, but the 38 mile drive was going to take at least an hour with traffic! No thank you! That's the downside to living out in the halfway sticks; everything good is too far to be convenient!

7/22: Today I researched water containers. I want to have storage for somewhere between 2-5 gallons of water; not necessarily for drinking water, but for washing and stuff like that for which I could use to fill my Brita filter. I also finally had some progress on my bed. I was able to build the lower half....mostly (included pic-it's raised for under bed storage)...then I hit a snafu; I didn't buy long enough screws for the legs, so right now they are just being held there by nails....which is definitely not sturdy enough! I finally ran to Home Depot to grab some and they don't have what I need. Ugh! It's past 9pm already and I'm exhausted from work then working on the bed frame and short on patience. I guess tomorrow I will make a trip to Lowe's before starting to build the top reclining portion. I'm calling it a night!
