We took our first hike in the Alps today! We took the gondola to the middle of the mountain (I'm guessing it was the middle) then took a lift up to the top. I'm not a huge fan of heights, or chairlifts but the fear was worth it. The view was breathtaking. I've honestly never seen anything like it. We decided to hike down to the bottom. Maybe not our best idea. We got a little lost. Maybe not lost but it took much longer than expected. A lot longer. There was quite a bit of whining and complaining but I guess that's to be expected when you get "lost" and it's lunchtime.
