Today is day 3 in Athens. First impressions, it's not the place for us. I think the biggest issue is the heat. By 10:00 the kids are melting. It's "too hot" until around 7:00. That's a lot of time inside. I'm trying to go with it and not be annoyed that we're in Athens spending all day in our apartment. But it is kind of driving me insane. Starting tomorrow we have some trips/tours planned for the rest of the week. Hopefully that will help.

We did walk around for a little bit yesterday. We saw the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and walked around the National Garden.

Other random thoughts about Greece-In many places (including our apartment) you can't flush toilet paper. This is not my favorite thing. I do have to say the Greek people are wonderful. Everyone has been so welcoming. They especially love Penelope and Reilly.

I'm off to do a puzzle and watch some kid shows on Netflix.
