Oia

Today we visited Oia. Because we're trying to live like the locals (not really) we took the bus from Fira. About half way there I regretted the decision. I think we went up over a mountain. The switchbacks were terrifying and made me want to puke. BUT..once we got there, it was worth it. Although we took a taxi home :)

My friend Lindsay told me about Atlantis Bookstore. It was super cool. The lady working there was a writer from New York. The book store employs writers from all over and allows them to live in the store. Everyone who works there gets their name painted on the ceiling in a

spiral. They also print journals with the spiral on the cover. I may have picked one up for someone. I wish I would have taken more pictures of the inside of the store. It was magical.

When we got back to the hotel the kids had a jump contest at the pool, then fell into bed exhausted. At least for a few minutes.
