Here We Go!

Holy moly!! I can't believe we are really doing this! We left Seattle Sunday afternoon. I was REALLY worried about the flight. It's close to 10 hours to fly from Seattle to London, then 3.5 hours from London to Santorini. The kids were amazing on the first flight. No one slept, but they had enough to keep them busy. I was annoyed at the lady behind us who refused to close the blind on her window, but other than that it was smooth sailing. We had about an hour layover in London. We were all tired and a little loopy. It was around 11:30pm Seattle time. The flight to Santorini was tough. We were all so tired. At one point Reilly was crying for his bed. Both kids finally fell asleep

with about an hour left in the flight. The Santorini airport is the smallest I've ever been in. We got off the plane on the runway. It was so hot and sunny, and of course we were dressed for Seattle weather. The line to get in the airport was really long. It was painful. We just wanted to get to the hotel and go to sleep. Once we got our passports stamped we picked up our luggage. All of us except Reilly, because his suitcase stayed in London.

We made it to the hotel in one piece. I considered this a win since people drive like maniacs here. I'm not 100% sure we didn't run over someone on the way. Santorini is certainly one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.
