Not much to report today. Did a 2.5 hour trek with James in the morning. He pointed out a lantern bug and some poisonous fruit to us – and that was about it. In the afternoon we cleaned the cage again and just as we finished the heavens opened and it is still raining heavily as I write this. I love listening to the storms here. Means the leeches will be out in force tomorrow though!
We went out in the evening to the Nature Resort for a few drinks to celebrate Steph's belated birthday and Jack and Kait's climb. Once again had three drinks (one too many), then headed home to watch Married at First Sight (which we have gotten into over the last few days). A few of us were a bit rowdy and not ready to go to bed, so I ended up sitting in my room with Melissa singing along to some power ballads. Then we went downstairs and ended up doing a conga line with Carrie and Steph – Kait was knocking on the floor from the room above to tell us to pipe down. So we went to bed and had a girly chat till well after midnight, which was good fun.
