Chiang Mai, part 2

09/05 Taxi back to Julie Guesthouse, Chiang Mai. Poor Clo was sick, one minute she was fine then next minute she said, ‘ooo Mummy I feel sick’, thank god I had a plastic bag to hand. She seemed fine after but then felt ill later and got a temp. Clo sick at 2am. Super hot eve. Shells had to wet clothes and drape over her to cool down.

10/05 Clo really not well, still has temp. Trying not to worry about Dengue, Malaria etc. Chilled at hostel and dinner at Mickeys cafe. Got bike for E to practice, almost got it, but needs more practice. Pete beers with Alex, talked about craft ale.

11/05 Chloe still not well, concerned about dengue so took C to Ram Hospital for doctor and blood test. Very relieved it wasn't,

but she has a virus. Typically she seemed absolutely fine when we got there and was running around, giggling like a nutter. KC very kindly agreed to babysit so we went to Hot Chilli’s and the corner bar area for drinks. Great eve. Our little girls had great eve with big girls, they were almost asleep when we got home.

WEEK 33

12/05 Clo seems totally back to normal. Went to promenade mall for the large soft play area, fabulous, girls had such a good time. Last supper with KC and Alex at Coconut Shell then on to the bar area in town. Don’t understand why these cool youngest want to hang with us – so nice of them!

13/05 Pete spent the morning finding pool to use (as none of us can handle the heat anymore) and repair my shorts. Went to top north hotel with KC, Alex et al to use pool. Shells gave Kaley and Choppy reflexology to say thank you for babysitting. It was hard saying goodbye to them – knowing we’ll probably never see them again. Alex got the guitar out, he was a leedle beet drunk hahahah. Sad to leave here, all of us but Vietnam beckons ?
