13/02 Pete still not feeling great but managed to make it to Rovers Return for Piggy Roast. See pics. What amazed us the most was the girl’s lack of reaction!!! Looks impressive but actually the meat was very dry and disappointing. The crackling was like a bad pork scratching. Good eve with Mum and Dad though but definitely wouldn’t go back. Compared to the belly pork at Bomras there’s just no comparison.

4/02 Shells, Mum and Dad walked to Bon Appetit. Lovely. I did the picture in sand for Pete on the way – Happy Valentines day darling. Back for lunch. Yummy toasted tuna wraps. Chloe and Elodie did 19 and 30 lengths of pool! They to bed early – asleep by 720, must be a record. Mum and Dad to babysit. We had drinks with them on terrace. Pete and Shells shared a bottle of

Chandon pink, delicious. Went to bomras, wow what an eve. Everything top notch. Fab eve playing tunes and drinking and ended up going to bed at 2am!!

15/02 girls first day back at school for 3 weeks. They were actually excited about going. Felt good to get back into a bit of a routine. Stayed in.

16/02 Pete ran back from school along beach. Shells picked girls up, Mum and Dad happened to be passing by in Gordon’s jeep so all went for lunch at Viva Goa, yum. Did burger and home made chips for first time. Chloe decides she loves meat now and had a massive burger – bizarre but we’re chuffed she’s not a vegetarian after all.

17/02 took girls to school and ran back 40mins. Shells did reflexology for a lovely couple Nik and Sylvie. They’re off to Thailand tomorrow. Might be able to borrow a Sedan car during monsoon. Dinner at moonshine didn't fail to disappoint but girls were tired and out of control AND we eat early at 6pm. Too many mozzies at that time. Despite having leggings, long sleeve top and 50% deet, chloe still managed to get bitten 8 times. Poor little muchkin.

WEEK 21

18/02 P took girls to school and ran back 35mins.

19/02 P met russell and Clinton for lunch. They came up with Morjim Records as the name for label. A good start. Girls in pool for first time this week. Dinner with Angela and Morritz at Harmony. Good old Mum and Dad babysat. They’d said they wanted an early night so we told Krish to pick us up at 1030. 1130 Mum rang – we were still there, oops. Great conversation. Krish taxi driver not happy we were so

late. Gave him good tip. Felt bad for Mum and Dad too.

20/02 Crabbing trip today. We must have done it 5 times now but every time it is different and always wonderful. Today was probably the best, the girls loved it. Mum, Dad, Linda and John came too. Tony Mum and Dad’s friend is a kind of guide and great to have with us. Chloe especially loved it, probably because she caught 2 crabs with her fishing rod. The girls took a shine to Tony and vice versa. They were fascinated by all his stories. Lunch was great only Tony, Elodie and Shells had the crabs. Was so proud of Elodie eating the crab with gusto, using the nutcracker to crack the shell. The only downside was that when we arrived there was a rat down the toilet, although girls thought it was brilliant! Nanny was terrified, so went to the loo next door but kept the door open, only for a boat full of people to go past lol. Dinner at cafe fiori, good, but not up to expectations, a shame because after reading Trip Advisor we had very high expectations. We wouldn’t rush back. Great eve though and girls good as gold.

21/02 Pete ran about an hour to the fort Aguada and back. Disappointing fort.

22/02 Ahh Grandma’s birthday today, we said a little prayer for her. Spent time booking Asia trip. There’s a lot to co-ordinate. Booked hotel for Saigon.

23/02 Booked Karon and Ko lanta, with flights to Chiang Mai, hoping to hop across border to Laos. All very exciting.

24/02 Great dinner at Himalaya. Shells had fillet of snapper – SO good!

WEEK 22

25/02 girls went on school trip to picnic at campal park in Panjim. We were worried so went along to see all ok. It was.

26/02 Ran 35 mins on beach. went to Siolim so russell could take bed and chairs. Went to Teso looks amazing by the sea. Lunch at starlight. Girls had play date at rising wave with Amber. Chloe got her first pocket money of 50p

27/02 trip to siolim for netting and cleaning giot cancelled as we got in the cab!! so went to baba au rhum for lunch. Heard terrible news that Morgan the French Chef from La Plage had just been killed on his scooter. Girls enjoyed watching someone play sitar, especially elodie. Amber came round for a play date. E tried to make her feel at home by talking in an Indian accent. Very sweet.I can see how the western kids at GM end up with Indian accents.

28/02 Ran 40 mins inland. Took the girls to Starlight for lunch. Girls spent some pocket money. Chloe got glow in dark pencils which don't glow in dark. E making us laugh, all she spends her money on are different accessaries to put her money in. Girls made pancakes for first time. Shells poorly from the mussels.

29/02 E very upset going to school today. Ran 25 mins getting very hot on a morning now.

MARCH 2016, 01/03 Shell worked on blog photos. Logo and website created for Morjim Records. We all liked the first one Russells friend designed. Mum and Dad picked girls up from school and had them for the afternoon. Elodie got a letter for Isla - she was sooooo excited, see photos!

02/03 ran 30mins picking up E from tutor where she talks in Indian accent to Maria. Met russell and Clinton for coffee. FB and Soundcloud set up this week. Dinner at Green Jacket.

03/03 Went to Siolim to have Villa Tina cleaned. OMG the bird poo on the balcony, I did not envy ******* one bit. He was one of Sarah guys, it didn't feel right giving him the equivalent of £12 after all his hard work (3hrs!!). Shells v excited to take pete to Amancios in Siolim a very special, tiny little place, with a small balcony overlooking the hustle and bustle of Siolim's little market, great food at ridiculous prices. How gutted were we to discover it's closed on Thursdays. Went to a place called Goa Grill that had Rotissirie chicked, sadly it still had an hour to cook, we were starving by this point so got some grilled sandwiches (tasty). We decided to buy a chicken as take away and have got dins. We could imagine the girls face mmmmm roast chicken, didn't quite go to plan as when we got it home we realised it had been marinated in chilli - you gotta laugh. Went for a drink at Teso to show Shells, beautiful setting, with long sofa so we lie down. So hot and humid today, though lovely breeze coming off the river. E lost another tooth! There was a lot of blood. It's her top 2nd left one - she's so chuffed it's out but the other one is wobbly and annoying her. Still difficult to eat poor kid.
