S & J's Big Adventure

Utterly disappointed, we discovered our favourite breakfast spot is closed on Sunday's. So venturing further into the city on a very quiet morning we began to search for another feeding trough. It seems hotter and even more humid this morning and Johnny is feeling a little light-headed. Possibly lack of food combined with heat. Eventually find somewhere to refuel and feeling a little better we decide to get a taxi to The Peak Tram. There are queues of taxi's lining all the side streets this morning so very easy to slide into one and arrive at the Tram just a few minutes later.

Wonderful old tram and incredible building on top of Victoria Peak. Amazing views down over Hong Kong and Kowloon. We are actually in the mist up there. Sandwich and a cold drink then back down to the quiet city below and back to our hotel to prepare for our 14 hour overnight flight.

I have been giving our housekeeper a little something each day and she has been looking after us in return. Lots of complimentary bottled water which has been a bonus in this humidity.

Not really looking forward to 14 hours in an airline seat but at least these ones slide forward when you recline the back so it's a bit closer to a sleeping position. Will stay off the feet this afternoon to try and keep them happy until we are airborne. I bought myself and inflatable foot rest before we left home and I have to say that it was fantastic to have on the flight here. Hopefully it will make this next let of the journey as comfortable as possible.
