A free day to recover from our tour. We arrived at the hotel around 6.30 this morning and checked in early as we were ready for a hot shower. We had a leisurely breakfast and then went to the Bolivia Hop office to discuss our journey back to Puno tomorrow with the friendly and helpful staff.
The streets were very busy because it is a Saturday and the local people set up stalls anywhere they can find a space on the pavements. Markets also appear on various streets mostly selling clothes. We walked around for a bit but it was very hazardous with all the traffic to contend with.
We went for a late lunch and did some last minute Bolivian shopping before returning to the hotel to pack our bags ready for leaving tomorrow.
