Yesterday we arrived at Costa Da Caparica. We are here till the 16th of August, then we move to our next destination towards Spain.

Caparica has a stunning 30 km long coastline of sandy beaches that look out onto the Atlantic ocean. The route from Lisbon takes around 25 minutes by car, it crosses the Tagus River (“Tejo”) via the 25 of April bridge (“Ponte 25 de Abril”). It’s about 17 km from Lisbon.

This morning was spent on the beach. Red flags were displayed, that meant no swimming allowed. The lifesavers were present and

Yesterday we arrived at Costa Da Caparica. We are here till the 16th of August, then we move to our next destination towards Spain.

Caparica has a stunning 30 km long coastline of sandy beaches that look out onto the Atlantic ocean. The route from Lisbon takes around 25 minutes by car, it crosses the Tagus River (“Tejo”) via the 25 of April bridge (“Ponte 25 de Abril”). It’s about 17 km from Lisbon.

This morning was spent on the beach. Red flags were displayed, that meant no swimming allowed. The lifesavers were present and

warning swimmers. The waves were quiet big. We were able to enter the water but nothing more than knee height. The water was quiet strong and felt very icy.

We finished the day by having some caracoles (snails).
