We have moved onto our next destination, Madrid. We left Trujillo just after breakfast. We drove 252 km to reach our accommodation in Madrid. After a few drives around the city, we finally found the car park (plaza de oriente). Lucky as it was only a short 3 minute walk from our accommodation. I must say that our airbnb apartment is right in the centre. Underneath there are lots of cafes, restaurants and bars.
Today we visited San Miguel Mercado, Palacio Real de Madrid, Catedral de Santa Maria and Plaza Mayor. Rui and I were both salivating as we walked through the San Miguel Mercado, so many

I must say that our airbnb apartment is right in the centre. Underneath there are lots of cafes, restaurants and bars.
Today we visited San Miguel Mercado, Palacio Real de Madrid, Catedral de Santa Maria and Plaza Mayor. Rui and I were both salivating as we walked through the San Miguel Mercado, so many
different foods, must go back and try some jamon (presunto).
I have to say that I have fallen in love with this city. Have to make the most of it, as we are only here for 2 nights.
