Early morning call this morning (5am) so we could go to the Canyon and watch the sunrise. It's pretty cold when there is no sun out.
We then hiked down into the canyon about 2.4km for a 4.8km round trip. It was tough but could have been a lot worse.

Day 11 - Trekamerica - Grand Canyon/Las Vegas

Early morning call this morning (5am) so we could go to the Canyon and watch the sunrise. It's pretty cold when there is no sun out.
We then hiked down into the canyon about 2.4km for a 4.8km round trip. It was tough but could have been a lot worse.
Then it was into the van for the 5 hour drive to Las Vegas. Unfortunately we went past the Hoover Dam but was unable to see it. If you are going across it apparently your vehicle has to be searched etc.
On the way into Vegas we stocked up on drinks as it is cheaper just outside of Vegas. We are about to go on a party bus along the strip with a couple of stops. I think I will finish this update later tomorrow.
So the party bus was awesome only had seats along the edges and two stripper poles in the middle. We stopped off at the biggest tv screen on Fremont Street. After that we stopped at the iconic Las Vegas sign and got some photos. To end the party bus we got of at the Bellagio water fountain and watch a couple of shows from there the night was our own.
