Day 16 - San Francisco

This morning when we got up David and I took Toby for a walk and see some of the surrounding streets.

We then headed to SFMOMA which is the Museum of Modern Art to have a coffee as the museum is actually closing for the next 3 or so years to have renovations done.

David and I then went and hired me a bike, the three of us then headed on a massive bike ride along the waterfront. First stop we made was out to see the view from the Municipal pier at the Maritime National Historic Park.

Our next stop was the Palace of Fine Arts which was a pretty awesome building. We then continued to bike around to the bottom of the Golden Gate Bridge and take a some photos then up the hill

and bikes across the actual bridge and then made our way across to Sausalito where we had some lunch and then had a look around before heading back to San Francisco on the ferry and then taking the bike back.

We went back to SFMOMA as we were only there for coffee this morning. We at a look around some of the paintings and exhibits and were there until closing time (for a period of around three years).

We had a quiet tea at home as we will be eating out most other nights and then up to the roof (42nd floor) to have a look at the view and have a hot chocolate.

The bike was great way to get around and gave me a good overview of the city so I will be able to have my bearings during the week and find my way around the various places that David and Amy have

suggested seeing.
