Not much to report today as the day was pretty much just a travel day. Had to be up and out the door of the San Diego hotel at 5am to catch a shuttle to the airport. Once there we had a quick bite to eat and then board out flight which was delayed slightly due to the weather in San Francisco.
Once we had the ok to go there was an issue with the plane so we ended up with about an hour delay sitting in the plane on the tarmac. Once in the air it was approximately a 1.5hour flight through to San Francisco where we had a connecting flight to Washington DC. As we arrived late we had to just rush to the gate and board straight away. The flight from San Francisco to Washington DC was approximately 5hrs but the time in Washington is 3hours ahead.
We had some food at the airport as it is quite far from the city centre, it was already 7 and hadn't had lunch. By the time we got checked into the hotel it was already 830 so we found somewhere to have some dessert and then walked along to the White House to see it lit up at night.
Check in tomorrow when hopefully I will have done something actually interesting!

Day 25 - Travel to Washington DC
