Trip of a Lifetime - Alaska, here we come!
It was a shorter riding day today, as we had pre-booked the bikes in for their regular 8K service. We went out to Potter Marsh to checkout some nature, then on to the Southside Grill for some breakfast.
After getting Matilda serviced at House of Harley and getting the obligatory poker chip and T-shirt, we were off to the historic village of Eklutna for some interesting sights and information from the local guide – the oldest inhabited location in the Anchorage area and is where the melding of Orthodox Christianity and native practices resulted in the brightly colored spirit house in the local cemetery.
Then it was a run along the Old Glenn Highway around Palmer and our second HD stop of the day in Wasilla, and of course, the requisite poker chip, before heading back into Palmer to our destination, the Eagle Hotel.

Day 20 – Bird Creek, AK to Palmer, AK
