Amazingly I made it to my Muay Thai class this morning without an alarm! I woke up naturally around 7.30am feeling groggy from the 3 hours' sleep but I knew that this would be my last opportunity to go as I leave tomorrow and later tonight, I am going with Georgia to get a tattoo – not me, just her, although I am thinking of getting my nose pierced. I woke up and made my way over there with 2 minutes to spare, I knew Georgia was not going to be there this morning but that gave me a chance to really focus. Once more in the warmup my abs were already complaining and they only got worse as the class went on. I was partnered with a girl from Holland today and we both gave it our all, the man said my kicks have finally got the power behind them that they should have, which is nice to hear, especially on my final lesson. Along with a lot of combinations today, we also done 100 sit ups, so now my stomach is hurting just standing up, let alone moving. I was cursing Georgia this morning for still being in bed.
By the time I got back, Michella had just woke up so after a shower, we went and got some breakfast at a restaurant down the road. I felt so

I felt so
much better this morning for getting up and doing something rather than just laying in bed twisting and failing to be able to sleep so I headed down to the beach pool bar and spent the rest of the day on a sunbed overlooking the sea and periodically taking a dip in the pool to cool down. I felt so relaxed lying here along with Georgia and Jack who joined me shortly after lunchtime that I did not want to move for the rest of the day, but like all good things, it had to come to an end as Georgia’s date came and met us to show us the tattoo studio he recommended and used. Georgia was both excited and nervous to be getting her first tattoo, but she wanted a way to remember her time on this beautiful island. Georgia said that the tattoo did not hurt much as she got it on her thigh and used the bamboo rather than machine, so it does not penetrate the skin quite so deep; this way she can still go swimming for the remainder of the time she is here. Georgia was so pleased with her new tattoo once it was done and I must admit, it did look nice. We went to get showered and changed before coming back out and then going to get my nose pierced. I have had it done before, but I pulled it out whilst I slept and by the morning it had closed up, so this time I am going to wear a plaster over it at night to prevent this happening again. I thought getting it done on the same side as last time, it might be desensitised but apparently this is not the case
as when the needle went in, I yelped and nearly bolted straight up but managed to not move otherwise that could have been messy; the pain only lasted about 20 seconds though and then I could enjoy the little gem in my nose.
Me and Georgia spent the rest of the evening down by the fire show watching Mike and the rest of the boys. Tonight, they also got a lady up from the audience who clearly also does fire dancing as she was incredible, the way she moved so slow and fluid was compelling.
I returned to the hotel around 1am in the end and settled down for my final, no doubt, restless sleep.
