My Travels through South Africa and Thailand

So today has been so chilled, I think I only left my bed to shower, eat and drink. I think my body needed a lazy day though just to catch up with itself as I have been doing so much in the past 2 weeks with hardly any proper rest. I have just spent the day reading my book as well as snoozing and I feel so much better for it now. I woke up this morning with Roger the cat as my little spoon, bless him; I just find it so adorable how he knew I was alone so came to keep my company. Dinner tonight was lovely as I opted for the vegetarian option for a change, so it was just something different other than meat plus for the 6 of us that stayed behind they also made us each a custard tart which was so good! Although it made the others a bit upset as they all got back earlier than expected today so they missed out on the tart. They all returned around 5.45 so just in time for dinner and my peace was quickly ruined, so earphones in and world out it is. I have started to pack up my stuff ready to leave on Tuesday and Charlotte said she cannot believe her roomie is leaving her and that no one could replace me, which made me tear up a bit.

So yeah, as expected it has been fairly uneventful today but with temperatures meant to reach 42 degrees tomorrow I think my body needed the rest but on the plus side the sunset tonight is stunning, well as they say 'red sky at night, shepherds delight' so hopefully we get to lounge round the pool tomorrow afternoon.
