Kyle and Danielle's Big OE

We boarded our 2nd overnight train to Halong bay. The town itself left little to be desired as it is a hot-spot for Chinese tourists. We were here in the low season so things looked like a ghost town and even the amusement park had a handful of people. Regardless of what the city had to offer, Halong bay is amazing. The mountains stick out of the ocean like icebergs and there are over 500 Islands in total. We enjoyed the Junk boat trip and Danielle did really well not to get sea sick. We visited a cave which had some cool rock formations as well as Indian tourists who took every opportunity to take photos of our group. I told one of the them off very loudly which I enjoyed. We finished the trip by doing some Kayaking through the Islands and 2 of our group (Max and Scott) somehow managed to sink their

Hue to Halong Bay
