Our Great Canadian Road Trip Adventure - Summer 2017

We could hardly believe it, day five of the drive home and we would be driving into Ontario today! The biggest excitement of the day was stopping at the “Welcome to Ontario” sign. It was bittersweet – here we were so happy to finally be back in Ontario because we were that much closer to home, all the while knowing that our trip was almost over. I can’t deny the pride I was feeling for myself and the girls at what we had accomplished. Not to get ahead of ourselves…we still had Ontario to drive through. Other than that, it was an uneventful drive this day. We found a motel in Dryden, nothing special. We did really enjoy the giant peanut butter cups filled with Reese’s Pieces that we bought at the gas station across the way. We saw the ad on TV and had to have them!
