Our Great Canadian Road Trip Adventure - Summer 2017

How quickly the almost two weeks went by! We set aside this day to go swimming at the quarry (a secret swimming hole loved by the locals), but it ended up being too cold and rainy. We took the opportunity to do our laundry and start packing for the next phase of our journey. Trish and Rob took us out for pizza at a new pizzeria. It was sad saying goodbye to them because we wouldn’t see them the next day before we left, but we knew it had been a memorable visit that we would cherish for a lifetime.

We packed up the car the next morning, gave lots of hugs to Keani and Cooper, and wished Keani good luck at University. (By the way, Marc sent mitts, a scarf, and a toque in the mail that he knit for Keani as a going-away-to-University gift!). We were so grateful to Trish and Keani for letting us invade their home and hijack their summer and will never be able to thank them enough!
